How to get to Malaga from the Malaga Airport?

Malaga airport, also known as Pablo Picasso Airport, is located eight kilometers southwest of the capital and within its municipality. It is the most important airport in Andalucía, occupying the fourth place among Spanish airports and is perfectly connected by public transport (bus, train and taxis) to the city center and its surroundings.

Malaga Airport Arrivals

Malaga airport, despite its daily volume of flights, is a small and accessible airport, for example the arrivals terminal only has one exit, so it is very easy to find public transport by following the existing bus signs, train, car rental or taxis.

  • If you want to eat or have a drink, the airport has this cafeteria-restaurant in the arrival hall: Coffee Daily
  • In the baggage claim area you have a Duty Free shop where you can buy food products, perfumery and drinks, among others: Málaga Arrivalshop
  • In the arrivals hall there are ATMs from different banks. Currency exchange offices are available in the baggage reclaim hall.
